<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />approve as flood hazard areas those areas set forth in the report which <br />are subject to an intermediate regional flood; and <br /> <br />~fJHEREAS, Article 149-1-11(4), Colorado Revised statutes 1963, <br />requires that the Colorado Water Conservation Board designate and <br />approve storm or flood water runoff channels and to make such designa- <br />tions available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 139-60-1, Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, <br />provides that cities, towns, counties and local jurisdictions may pro- <br />vide zoning regulations for any storm or flood water runoff channel <br />only after designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conserva- <br />tion Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado this 18th <br />day of January, 1973, that it does hereby rescind that portion of the <br />resolution adopted on December 13, 1967 relating to the flood hazard <br />areas set forth in the previous information reports covering Bear Creek <br />and Clear Creek, insofar as such resolution pertains to Bear Creek: and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board does hereby designate and approve as flood hazard areas those <br />areas described as being inundated by an intermediate regional flood <br />as set forth in the Special Flood Hazard Information Report prepared <br />and submitted by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers covering Bear Creek, <br />dated December. 1972: and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of this Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of <br />County Commissioners for Jefferson County, to the Lakewood City Council, <br />to the Sheridan City Council, to the Mayor of the City and County of <br />Denver, and to the Urban Flood Control and Drainage District. <br /> <br />C E R T I F I CAT E <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of <br />a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at Denver, <br />Colorado, on the 18th day of January, 1973. <br /> <br />FELIX L.
