meetings will be held this summer to assist in explanation of the
concepts and procedures used in preparing the report,: to receive
further views and comments, and to advise us of any corrections
that appear to be necessary. Please advise us as early as possible
whether or not a meeting should be held in your region, The tentative
schedule for the meetings is:

An attached map shows the general geographical interest intended for
each meeting, Local arrangements for meetings will be made by river
basin commissions, where applicable, or by Federal agencies with
adequate facilities. Meetings will generally begin at 10:00 a. m. on
the first date indicated with a summary response by OBERS to ~Uestions
submitted to the Council during the review period by recipients of the
proposed report, The response will cover concepts, methodology,
data and projections, Further clarification and elaboration will be
given on these items as requested by the attendees. The remainder
cif the time will be devoted to comments by agency representatives,

It is requested that the data and projections as applicabl€' to your'
specific interests and uSe be given intensive review. You ar€' urged
to provide questions or comments stemming from this review by
June 15 so that the initial remarks of OBERS can focus on yonr
specific questions. Receipt of questions in advance will permit
answe rs to be prepared with reference to data in Washington that
may be necessary to resolve the questions,

Attendance at the meetings should be limited to representatives of
your organization who have a primary interest in the technical make-up
of the projections. We would appreciate comments and discussion to
focus primarily on the technical aspects of the projections, Policy
matters related to the report may bl' the subject of another meeting
later this year if the need emerges.
