.

I-"
--.1
....1
0)

.

1/
.

J

~ but no specific "case" data were provided the CIFSG.

Impacts on the Colorado River from Rifle, CO to the

Gunnison River were appraised, therefore, only on the

basis of gross diversions of the amounts of water

required for M2WD, M2WB, and M2WA levels of develop-

ment. Impacts which could result from potential

storage and del i very faci 1 it i es were di scussed

briefly and subjectively.

d. Magnitude of M2WB and M2WA Depletions of M2WO Flows

The CIFSG compiled, from information included in the draft of

the final report, an analysis of depletion of natural flows

under MWO and M2WO conditions, together with the extent of

further depletion of M2WO flows to meet water requirements for

the Section 13(a) Baseline and the Accelerated Synfuel year-

2000 deve lopments. Thi s is covered in tabl e W on page 14 of

attachment J. The tabulated summary on page 15 of the attach-

ment indicates 1 ittle likelihood of adverse reactions due to

EET development in four of the water-source streams, namely:

l' Co 1 orado Ri ver = Source to CO/UT Li ne 11

2' Green River = Source to Yampa River
3' Green Ri ver = Yampa Ri ver to Colorado Ri ver
4' San Juan River = Source to Mancos River

As previously noted, however, the necessity for re-regulation could cause
adverse impacts.

64
