AS AMENDED, <br /> <br />WHEREAS. THE AMITY MUTUAL IRRIGATION COMPANY. INC, desires to <br />secure a Federal loan under the Small Reclamation Projects Act. PL 84- <br />984, as amended. and has authori zed its consulti ng engi neers. :1cCa 11- <br />Ellingson & 11orrill, Inc., to pr'epare a feasibility report in support <br />of 3n application for said loan to finance rehabilitation of ~he ,~ity <br />System, canals and structures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said consulting engineers have prepared a supportin9 <br />Loan Application Report. as required under the Small Reclamation Pro- <br />jects Act of 1956. as amended. entitled "Rehabilitation Plan" dated <br />June 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the Board of Directors approves insertion of the Clean <br />Air .and ~Iater Certification and assurance of compliance form for Title <br />VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 into the report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of THE AMITY MUTUAL IRRIGATION <br />COMPANY, INC. concurs in and approves said application report which <br />proposed project having a total estimated cost of $5,294,000, of which <br />$4.223.000 would be obtained by a loan from the Federal Government under <br />prOVisions of PL 84-984, as amended, to be repaid within a 23-year per- <br />iod. $1.071,000 would be a contribution by THE AMITY MUTUAL IRRIGATION <br />COMPANY. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of THE <br />AMIT~ MUTUAL IRRIGATIDN CDMPANY, INC. that the President be and is here- <br />by authorized and directed to make application to the U, S. Department <br />of the Interior. Bureau of Reclamation, for said loan and that he or <br />she and the engineering consultants are further authorized and directed <br />to perform any other acts necessary in connection with the filing of <br />such application. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be trans- <br />mitted to the U, S, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation <br />with the application report. <br /> <br />ii <br />
