<br />This ,hart-term incentive progra~ was announced in conjunction with the <br />CommiSsion's decision to dismiss la number of those incompleFe applica~ions. <br /> <br />The short-term incentive program has two principal features. First, a license <br />with a 30-year prospective term, instead of the usual 20-year term, would be <br />issued. Second, complying applicants would be, relieved of one-half of the <br />back annual charges that would otherwise be assessed. <br /> <br />However, to gain the benefits of the short-term incentive program, applicants <br />are required to file a conforming license application within six months from <br />the date of the letter dismissing the original application. <br /> <br />FERC Licensing Actions <br /> <br />During the reporting period the FERC took appropriate licensing action on <br />projects located within the PSIAC area, as shown in the following tabulation: <br /> <br />C-46 <br />
