Metis, Acting Chief, GCMRC <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />Transmittal of and Request for Assistance with Distribution of Revised Draft FY <br />2006, Work Plan and Budget (version 3,0) to the Technical Workgroup <br /> <br />As promised earlier this spring, the GCMRC has completed its revision of the draft FY 2006 <br />work plan and budget(s), including recommendation for experimental science and science- <br />support activities intended to continue elements of the GCMRC's 2002 Experiment Plan, The <br />focus of the recommended experimental treatments and other science activities is intended to <br />support identified information needs of the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program. <br /> <br />Owing to her obligation to lead the Recreational PEP fieldtrip, Helen Fairley, our Socio-Cultural <br />Program Manager, was not able to complete revisions of the three socio-cultural project <br />descriptions in response to recommendations of the Budget ad hoc group. However, she will <br />provide revised handouts of these work plan sections at the upcoming TWG meeting, along with <br />a briefing of the proposed changes in Projects C.2 and C.3. <br /> <br />Please distribute the attached version (3.0) of the revised work plan dated June 10,2005, <br />(including the two budget scenarios with and without experimental activities) to the Technical <br />Workgroup members as soon as possible, so as to ensure that they have sufficient time to review. <br />the draft prior to the next meeting on June 21-22,2005. <br /> <br />We appreciate all of your time and assistance, as well as other members of the Budget and <br />Humpback Chub Comprehensive Plan ad hoc groups in getting through the review and revision <br />process, We are excited to discuss this version of the draft plan with you and other TWG <br />members at the upcoming meeting. We also look forward to participating with you and other <br />TWG members in the overall process of strategic science plalUling throughout the summer and <br />fall. <br />
