for consumptive use requirements that could be supplied from precipi ta-
tion in determining the remaining requirement to be met from irrigation.
The net irrigation requirement was increased to allow for water losses
on the farm and conveyance losses on the basis of irrigation experience
in comparable areas.

The derivation of the estimated irrigation diversion requirements
per acre of land and the monthly distribution of the requirements are
summarized in the tables below.
