These people include <br />Ms. Barbara Mancuso, ,Mr. John Bargsten, Mr. Forrest Binder, <br />Mr. Gregory Sharpe, Mr. David Flower, Mr. Douglas Ely, Mr. Patrick <br />O'Connor and Mr. Larry Rumburg. In addition, Mr. Richard L. Aust <br />and Mr. Stephen W. Smith contributed greatly towards the success <br />of the Irrigation Field Days. <br /> <br />The oo6peration of all the landowners and irrigators on the <br />project who contributed labor, shared costs, and expended much <br />effort for the construction and operation of the lateral and on- <br />farm improvements is greatly appreciated. Their willingness to <br />participate in this investigation is undoubtedly one of the major <br />factors for the degree of improvement that was achieved. <br /> <br />The cooperation and assistance of the Grand yunction Drain- <br />age District was greatly appreciated and special thanks are due <br />Mr. Howard K. Hiest, Mr. Capper Alexander, Mr. Wesley Land, and <br />Mr. Bill Huber of the:Board of Directors and Mr. Charles Tilton, <br />Superintendent, and their staff. ThanKs also go to Mr. Charles <br />Sowman, Superintendent of the Mesa County Road Department and his <br />staff for their assistance in the project. The ,efforts and <br />assistance of Mr. Rob~rt Henderson and the Directors of the Grand <br />Valley Irrigation Company, Mr. William Klapwyk and the Directors <br />of the Grand Valley W~ter Users Association, and the other irri- <br />gation companies in the area were extremely helpful.
