3. The existing road Bnd bridge are at ti'L' KerminuiJof the proposed

Wild river. The absence of roads and bridges in the area proposed

for designation permits it to be classified Wild.

4. Although development of loO'ater projects and mining are considered

unlikely in this arpq the possibility of development does exist

5. We think the intensity of data used to formulate this report is in

keeping with the decision made.

6. Other streams ~ere not compared by survey to determine if they

contained the same outstanding fisheries. The detercination that

the combination of no rough fish, ~armer than usual water for this

elevation and a SO/50 pool-riffle ratio makes this an outstanding

fishery was made by Richard Moore based on his training as a

fisheries biologist for the Colorado Division of Wildlife from

1952 - 1962 and for Region 2 of the Forest Service from 1962 _

1979. The outstanding fishery COJ::lbined ,,'ith occurance of several

life zan~s, diversity of wildlife species and habitat result in the
