annual process of gathering infornation arout water and related land resource
activities has evolved over the years into a canputerized system that is capable
of handling large .:mounts of data efficiently. This systen makes it p:lssible
for Can:nission staff to store and continually update information arout hundr:eds
of individual water activities in the resin. By rep:nting on the scheduled
activities of State, Federal, and other agencies. the Canmission hopes to
provide interested persons with a regional perspective of the ....ater-related ....ork
being conduC":;ed in the basi n. The information a tout water acti vi. ti es contained
in this rep::>rt ....as supplied by the lead agencies. ~ost of it has been reviewed
and updated by those agencies within the past six months. The Ccrnmission staff
does not supplenent the information received.

resource activities. The Reliew of Water and Related Land ResOJ!"Ce Pctivities
should not be conf'.lSed 'With the regional Water ResaJrces ~ana:tement. Plan. Only
those acti'lities that are current.ly under..ay. due ~o t:e resuned. or 3cheduled to
begin before fiscal year 1986 are included in this report. Programs or projects
that have been disoonti noed. completed. or have been recommended for action rut
are not yet scheduled by an agency. do not appear in these volunes. Canmission
mE!tlbers cb not necessarily endorse completion of the activities listed in this
report. The regional plan contains only those activi ties that are reccrrunended
by all Canmission menbers. The activi til!S endorsed in the regional plan may
take place over a looger ti..n~frJl1e and need not be scheduled before fiscal year
1986.
