<br />(projected) in Pedro Armendariz Grant. on left bank 1.0 mile downstream from dam and 1.5 miles
<br />upstream from Cuchil10 Negro River. Datum of gage is 4.242.09 it above mean sea level, datum of
<br />1929. Prior to April 23. 1942 at several different sites and datums.

<br />Drainage area.--29.450 sq mi. approximately (includes 2,940 sq mi in closed basin in San Luis Valley,
<br />Colo.).

<br />Average discharge.--62 years (1915-76). 993 cfs (719,400 acre-ft per year).

<br />Extremes.--1915-76: Maximum daily discharge. 8,200 cfs May 22. 1942; no flow at times prior to 1929.

<br />Remarks.--Records good except those for period May to September, which are fair. Flow regulated by
