lawyers have b8en able to say back. But I thin], the enginGers will agreG

that WG would have got nowhGre if it hadn It bGen for the lawyers. I am not

go:ing to makG the reverSG compliment because I belong to the other sidEl.

But in any event. it has bGen a very happy eombination - a very happy

association, and the most valuc,d thing' from a per"Sonal po:int of view that can

come out of these associations is the feeling that you have left beh:ind - a

sense of friendship as -,mIl as accomplishment."

Mr. Scrugham then made the following remarks:

secretary, Mr. Stetson. He has faced the difficult task of recording and

harmoniz:inG the complex statements presented before this Commission, and

his taslc has been accomplished in a most efficient and hiGhly satisfactory

manner.

UP?n motion duly made and seconded, the Commission unanimously adonted

the Compact as engrossed.

It was then moved, seconded and unanimously carried, that, the Commission

adjourn and proceed to the City of Santa Fe, vrhere the compact should be

signed.
