<br />Water-stage recorder at dam on Bighorn River, about 21 miles south
<br />of Thermopolis, Wyoming. Reservoir formed by earth-fill dam, construc-
<br />tion of which began in 1947. Storage began on October 11, 1951. Dead
<br />storage, 62,000 acre-feet at elevation 4657.0. Usable contents, 758,000
<br />acre-feet at elevation 4725.0 (top of gates). ,;,'C:;.:, at' darn at elevation 4758.
