The people need to be shown that if the <br /> <br />Project is not implemented and present conditions continue, <br /> <br />sub-irrigation practices in poor drainage areas will even- <br /> <br />tually lead to spreading of salinization and the complete <br /> <br />loss of much land now in crops. <br /> <br />They also want to know how much direct control they <br /> <br />will have over the operation of the Project.
