<br />On September 1, 1948, the Director of Region 7, uureau of Reclamation,
<br />transmitted to the Governor of Colorado copies of a preliminary draft of a
<br />rlanning report, with accompanyinG appendices, dated June 1948, on the first
<br />stage of the proposed Gunnison-Ar;:ansas Project, Colorado. The Director of
<br />Region 7 requested the State to revie\'; the report in its preliminary draft form
<br />and submit infor~al comments for consideration in the preparation of a report
<br />on such project in final for~n\ for tra~smittal to the Commissioner of Reclama-
<br />tion a~d the Secretary of the Int~rior.
