<br />li8D <br /> <br />representatives be construed as an7 consent on the~r part ~o the author~- <br /> <br /> <br />zation of a project for the exportation of water from the Gunnison River <br /> <br />to Eastern Colorado. <br /> <br />IV <br /> <br />EFFECT OF APPROVAL <br />OF PROJECT REPORT <br /> <br />The Committee recognizes that the approval of this report is <br /> <br />not to serve as a precedent or example for the approval of any other <br /> <br />transmountain diversion of major proportions not 'heretofore authorized. <br /> <br />The policy of the State of Colorado as initiated in statewide <br /> <br />meetings held under the auspices of the State Planning Co~~ssion at <br /> <br />Denver and Grand Junction, and as evidenced by resolutions dated June <br /> <br />15, 1935, and February 28, 1936, was not adhered to because surveys of <br /> <br />the character mentioned in said resolutions were not available to the <br /> <br />Committee.
