Permit to Discharge Wastewater! under the Colorado Water Qual ity. <br />Control Act of 1973 (CRS 1973;125-8-501 through 505) is required <br />from the Colorado Department of Hea 1 th, Water Qual ity Control <br />Division. During project construction, water discharged from the <br />tunnels and sett1 ing ponds would require a National Pollutant <br />Discharge Elimination System (~PDES) Permit. <br /> <br />2. Under the Colorado Water Quality Act (CRS 1973, 25-8-101 et. <br />seq.) a Section 401 Certifica~e for Dredge and Fill Operations <br />from Colorado Department of He~lth, Water Quality Control Divi- <br />sion is required. This permit is in conjunction with the Corps <br />of Engineers 404 Permit. <br /> <br />3. The State Historic Preservation Officer must evaluate inventoried <br />sites for significance to comply with the National Historic Pre- <br />servation Act of 1966 (PL 89-655) and Executive Order 11593 of 1971. <br /> <br />Local <br /> <br />Eagle County and other Counties advise the Forest Service that various <br />permits are needed.
