At these hearin9s, held in each of the six study states and in <br />Washington, D.C., the public had the opportunity to express their environ- <br />mental concerns for the Region and relate them to specific regional develop- <br />ment alternatives. Complete records of these hearings are on file with the <br />General Contractor and at EDA. <br /> <br />Additional inputs in the regional B-4 assessments were provided by the <br />Study's Technical Consulting Panel, made up of nationally prominant authori- <br />ties in each of the several disciplines relevant to the Study; by the federal <br />Techni ca 1 Assi stance Group organi zed by EDA to provi de interagency support <br />and guidance to the Study, and by others. <br /> <br />The General Contractor gratefully acknowledges the assistance and <br />support of all those who so fully supported this study effort. <br /> <br />v <br />
