<br />TRANSMISSION DIVISION <br /> <br />~~!,~~i~ <br />l~ <br /> <br /> <br />.-..J_...... ..... <br /> <br />~~~~ <br />~.~~,:.;3:1;F <br /> <br />"O~,2.~S 28. <br /> <br />The Transmission Division consists of power transmission facilities <br />necessary to interconnect and coordinate the operation of all powerplants <br />in the Missouri River Basin constructed by the Bureau of Reclamation and <br />Corps of Engineers. Transmission lines transmit firm and secondary power <br />for irrigation pumping; construction power; and power to municipalities, <br />cooperatives, private utilities, and other wholesale customers. Fower- <br />plants have been constructed by the Bureau of Reclamation on the <br />Colorado-Big Thompson, North Platte, Kendrick, Shoshone, Riverton, and <br />Missouri River Basin Projects. These are interconnected with the Fort <br />Peck, Fort Randall, Gavins Point, Garrison, Oahe, and Big Bend Power- <br />plants constructed by the Corps of Engineers; and with other Bureau of <br />Reclamation projects outside the Missouri River Basin. <br /> <br />.". :.; , . ::. -.
