unmarked Colorado squawfish captured,

3, Make population estimates in the same 20 mile reaches in the upper and lower
river in early April,

a. In conjunction to the spring monitoring, Mark approximately 600 fish in
each study reach.

b, Make two recapture passes; on second pass, mark fish with corner caudal
clip in addition to unique subreach mark,

c, Make parameter estimates,

4. Determine timing and extent of age-l Colorado squawfish dispersal as related to
fl ow,

a, At three downstream sampling locations, seine backwaters between 15 April
and 15 July to determine timing of dispersal,

b. About 15 July, seine backwaters from rmi 290 - 215 and rmi 120 - 50 to
determine post runoff distribution of age-I fish.
