<br />'. <br /> <br />OO:BM <br /> <br />Since 1987 he has been 'the Environmental Contaminants Specialist in the Grand Junction office and has been working on <br />selenium related issues associated with agricultural drainage and its effects on wildlife. He has been inyolved with collection <br />of data and/or development of reports associated with the effects of selenium on the Arkansas river in south eastern Colorado, <br />the Pine River and Dolores River in south western Colorado and the Uncompahgre, Gunnison and Colorado riyers in west central <br />Colorado. Most r=ntly he is part ora Core team member along with USGS and BOR on the "Planning for Remediation" phase <br />of the Uncompahgre, Gunnison and Grand Valley drain water study. He graduated from University of Missouri in Fish and <br />Wildlife Biology in 1976. <br />Natbaniel J. MiulJo is a Community Environmental Program Coordinator for the U.S. Environmental Protection <br />Aypv:y. He bas wad<l:d in EP A' s regional office in Denver for over 17 years with complex environmental programs that include <br />social and political challenges in the Superfund, Hazardous Waste and Clean Water Act Programs. Nat has a BS in Engineering <br />from the State Uniyersity of New York's Maritime Merchant Marine Military Academy. He is presently working with EPA to <br />come to grips with a new focus on ecosystem scale environmental protection as 'a member of the Region's Community Based <br />Environmental Protedion Team. Nat is presently inyolved with projects partially funded by EPA on the Jordan River Sub Basin <br />Counsel in Utah. The Utah Depanment of Environmental Quality Partnership effort in Southwestern Utah, several projects <br />re1ated to the San Miguel Watershed Coalition efforts, the Upper Animas Watershed Stakeholdet's group and the Roaring Fork <br />Watersbed modeling project developed by the Colorado School of Mines. <br />IC-netb Nonlstrom, R.E.HS., is the Environmental Health Director for the Delta County Health Department. Among <br />many Illher enviroIunmtal p~ programs, the department is responsible for the planning, administration, and enforcement <br />of the individual sewage disposal system (lSDS) program throughout the county. Ken was the chainnan of the Colorado State <br />ISDS Guideline Revision Committee from 1990 through 1994. He has a BA in Biology from Western State College, Gunnison, <br />Colorado, and is a RegistcmI Environmental Health Specialist with the National Environmental Health Association. Ken started <br />his career in 1973 as a Sanitarian with the Weld County Health Department, and he has also served as the county sanitarian in <br />Cba1fee County, Colorado. He has been with the Della County Health Department since 1982. <br />Gregory A. Parsonl is the Manager of the Watershed Section of the Water Quality Control Division at Colorado <br />Department of Public Health and Environment. The section is responsible for the gathering chemical, physical, and biological <br />water quality data; interpreting such data, and providing infonnation for both water quality protection and restoration; and <br />pmviding teclmical and iinanciaI assistance to communities involved in improving water quality. Previous to becoming Section <br />Manager for the Watershed Section, Mr. Parsons worked in several other positions in the WQCD. From 1987 to 1997 he served <br />as Nonpoint Sources Coordinator for nonpoint source program. From 1979 - 1987 be served in a variety of water quality <br />management roles for the WQCD including review of area wide water quality management plans, and finally supervising all <br />planning tdaIed activities in the WQCD. Mr. Parsons holds a B.A. Degree in Social Sciences from Colorado State University, <br />and a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Colorado State University. <br />D, RaDdoIpb Seaholm is Chief, Interstate Stream Investigations Section of Colorado Department of Natural Resources. <br />He has been with DNR for 2S years, the last 20 years in both the Flood Plain and the Interstate Stream Investigations sections. <br />He received his BS in Watershed Management from Colorado State Uniyersity in 1971. <br />Richard StenJon is a Enviromnental Health Specialist for the Planning Department in Gunnison County. He has worked <br />in Regional, State, and Federal programs in education, forestry, and Fish and Wildlife in Colorado and Alaska. Most recently. <br />Richard was on the Denver Regional Council of Goyemments ISDS Task force. He is a member of the Western Colorado <br />Association of Environmental Health Officials. He received a BA and MA at Western State College-Gunnison. <br />Greg Tninor, Utility Manager for the City of Grand Junction, is responsible for operation of City water and solid waste <br />utilities as well as area-wide wastewater utility. Greg has a BA from Colorado State University and a Masters in Public <br />Administralion from Brigham Young University. His 28 years in municipal government has included work as assistant to utility <br />director in Colorado Springs, Town Manager in Rangly, Colorado, Job Site Coordinator for the Battlement Mesa New Town (in <br />the oil shale days), project manager for the Colorado River Water Conservation District, and 12 years as the utility manager for <br />the City of Grand Junction. Besides dealing with operation and maintenance of City utility divisions, Greg is involved in <br />increasing activities on the City's Grand Mesa watershed, particularly the crossing of the watershed by the Transcolorado NaturaJ <br />Gas Pipeline. He is President of the Mesa County Water Association, and a member of Friends of Westwater Canyon Riyer Gnide <br />in Colorado and Utah <br />Dive Troeman is the Salinity Program Manager at U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Mr. Trueman has been a student of <br />the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Program for nearly 20 years. Mr. Trueman led Reclamation's efforts to reauthorize <br />the Program in 1995. In 1996, he wrote the guidelines that were submitted to and approved by Congress to run the newly <br />authorized program. In 1996, he worked on legislation which now allows Basin State cost sharing into the program. He is <br />presently Reclamation's program manager of this $20 millionlyr effort. <br />
