<br />Ineyear was <br />one for Id-f~;/ '9C~ <br />resolutions <br /> <br />By GARY TAYLOR <br />Resolutions arc in t.he air today and, in <br />act, they have been throughout 1999 in <br />.he San Luis Valley. <br />But while New Year's resolutions will <br />)c uttered today and tomorrow as Y car <br />~OOO dawns sunny and unseasonably <br />varm in Alamosa and surrounding ar- <br />'as, the near-completed 1999 featured <br />liffcrcnt kinds of resolutions in the news. <br />Year 1998 ended with Colorado voters <br />cjccti ng t.wo wa ter initiatives that would <br />laVe exported Valley water elsewhere, <br />~nd water issues remained prominent <br />n the pages of the Valley Courier this <br />ear.
