<br />03/27/QO 17:20 FAX <br /> <br />O:\TOM\TOMOO.168 DISCUSSION DRAFT S.L.C. <br />8 <br />1 . on the park and preserve map, as a unit of the Na- <br />2 tional Park System. <br />3 (2) lNCLUSIONS.-To. protect park resources <br />4 and park uses, the Secretaty may include. in. the <br />5 park preserve any Federal land adjacent to the na- <br />6 tional park that may be managed in conjunction <br />7 with the national park. <br />8 (c) TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION.- <br />9 (1) DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR LAND.- <br />10 The Secretary shall transfer to the National Park <br />11 Service administrative jurisdiction over any land <br />12 under the jurisdiction of Department of the Interior <br />13 that- <br />14 (A) is depicted on the park and preserve <br />15 map as being within the boundaries of the na- <br />16 tional park or park preserve; and <br />17 (B) is not under the administrative juris- <br />18 diction of the National Park Service on the date <br />19 of enactment of this Act. <br />20 (2) FOREST SERVICE LAND.-The Secretaty <br />21 and the Secretary of Agriculture may- <br />22 (A) transfer to the National Park Service <br />23 administrative jurisdiction over the Forest Sys- <br />24 tem land depicted on the park and preserve <br /> <br />March 27,2000 <br /> <br />~ 009/0'22 <br />
